National Integrity Framework

GA recently adopted Sport Integrity Australia’s National Integrity Framework. This includes a suite of 5 policies to govern the sport across Australia. They include policies relating to:

•  Safeguarding Children & Young People
•  Member Protection
•  Improper Use of Drugs and Medication
•  Competition Manipulation and Sport Gambling
•  Complaints, Disputes and Discipline

Some of these may seem more relevant to grassroots clubs than others, but these policies are vital in ensuring integrity matters are prevented, and if required, appropriately handled.

Toogoolawah Golf Club has adopted the National Integrity Framework and accordingly all members are bound by the NIF policies.

Organisations signing up to the National Integrity Framework must adopt the full suite of policies as a package as they are interdependent and cannot be separated. The adoption of the NIF ensures a nationally consistent approach.

This means any club you visit and play at will be guided by these principles as well.
